Aqua-Vu Micro Plus with built in DVR underwater camera system

I recently had the opportunity to field test the new Aqua-Vu Micro Plus with built in DVR underwater camera system from Aqua View.

Underwater cameras have become popular with ice fishermen as a means of checking multiple holes for structure or to look for fish during the ice fishing season.

Unfortunately, I was unable to test it through the ice due to unsafe ice conditions on the lakes in my area at the timing of my test. Therefore, I opted for plan B; one of my favorite places to fish year round is a small river spillway below a dam that has open water even in winter.

Overall test results: The unit was easy to use, and has great color/clarity. The camera head has 3x digital zoom for up close viewing and infrared lighting built in for low light conditions. The built in DVR feature gives you the ability to record and save what you’re seeing underwater so you can up load it to your computer and share it with family/friends at home.

The quality of the Aqua View Micro plus DVR is top notch! It will definitely help me catch more fish in the future.
