Great Father and son day on the Trinity River in Palestine, Texas July 16, 2023.


My son, Air Force Lieutenant Andrew Jordan Grove landed this 218lb, 7 ft gar in just about 10 minutes into the trip after a great fight.

I was also able to land a nice 6ft, 130 lb fish towards the end of the day in the hot sun.

Great time and good memories.

Hey Andrew, those fish are impressive, especially the 7 footer. I can definitely imagine the battle it must have been hooking up and landing those river monsters.
