17 kg catfish caught on fly fishing tackle

I was fishing with my mates one summer Sunday afternoon for pike or asp and a 17 kg catfish was caught on my fly. I have a light equipment but I made it out. This is a story for all those old school fisherman who want to teach us how to catch fish... of any kind. :-)

Heck yeah! Simba, that's awesome! That catfish must have given you one hellava nice fight, especially on fly fishing equipment.

(For those who might not know, 17 kg is the equivalent to about 37 pounds) The picture itself can easily show that it's a big fish no matter what weight system you use.
