Monster Smallmouth Caught on Micro-Gear

Monster Smallmouth Bass On Micro Gear
It was a cold October day when I hooked up to this beast of a smallmouth. It was actually too big to even make a full jump out of the water, but it did surface with its head a couple times. When I felt the power of this fish on my Micro gear I was ecstatic.
After about a 2 minute battle of reeling in just to have the fish pull more line out, I finally got it close to shore. I was alone when I first caught the fish, so I quickly reached around behind me and grabbed my net while still holding steadfast to my pole. Scooping up the massive fish I let out a gasp. This was the biggest smallmouth bass I have ever seen.
I attempted to get a picture but was unable to properly showcase its size. I then called up my girlfriend and she came right down to the river and took this picture of me with the bass.
This is the biggest fish I have ever caught. Of course the fish was released after the picture was taken, but this majestic beast will live on in my heart for a very long time.
As always, I used my Ugly Stik Micro combo lined with 15lb Spiderwire STEALTH braid. For bait, I used a Gary Yamamoto Flappin' Hog, Texas-Rigged.
