Quick DAM 440N Reel

I picked up a Quick DAM 440N reel at the flea market recently. It is great shape.


What is the difference between the 440N and the 440?

Is there any value to the 440N that I picked up?

Original Quick versies "N" series

Hello,

The "N" series Quick's were narrow body reels. Just keep in mind the parts are not interchangeable on the two models. Take a good look at an "N" series and a regular series and you will be able to see the difference. Also remember the spools are not interchangeable either.

To the avid 440 or DAM Q,

They are worth something. You can pick these up on eBay for $25 to $40, depending on the condition.

I own five 440's. One of them has a broken arm, so I will need to obtain a new base.
